IT will be performing maintenance that affects a number of production systems. As a result, we will failover to our DR location in Charlotte (CLT) while maintenance is performed at our primary location in Orlando (MCO). We expect to run transactions in CLT for approximately 60 – 90min.

Will production traffic be affected?
Yes. Production traffic will be failed over to our DR facility. This means all front end, web-site traffic will flow through our DR facility. Customers may experience a brief outage (“blip”) when the traffic is transferred, but that should be approximately 5min and another 5min when we fail back to MCO. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to speed this up as BGP needs time to converge. Meaning, the internet routers at the service providers need time to update to our new location and reroute traffic.

Settlement will be paused during failover and then processed once operations have returned to the primary location.

Please note all UAT Systems will be unavailable during this Maintenance.

Scheduled - One of our upstream providers (Verizon) will be doing emergency router/circuit maintenance impacting the Orlando Florida metro area. BridgePay will be preemptively removing the circuit from our peering during this maintenance, in order to minimize impact to customer processing. Please note, if you are directly connected or process through a Verizon circuit, you may experience processing issues during the maintenance window. Verizon is advising a 6 hour maintenance window with a maximum down time of 3 hours. Once maintenance has been completed and BridgePay's Network Operations team validates the circuit is functioning normally, it will be reintroduced to our peering group.
